Our Mission Statement
We created KFC with the vision of bringing our karaoke community together, using our hobbies, talents, and profession to benefit our neighbors in the fight against cancer, keeping every dollar raised local to Lane County. So many people love karaoke, and everybody hates cancer, so why not bring people together with the power of music to make a difference.
Karaoke Fights Cancer is a fun and unique way to bring our community together, for neighbors to help neighbors, so no one has to face cancer alone.

Caught in the Act Entertainment
Jared is the owner of Caught in the Act Entertainment, which has served Lane County for 25 years and has done thousands of karaoke shows and hundreds of private and corporate events. We strive to make every event as unique as the people that hire us.
Kim D’Avanzo
Kim is a local registered nurse who loves karaoke. Quite familiar with the fight against cancer, she has both worked in oncology and has many family members who have fought cancer. She’s always looking for ways to support and help others.
Oregon Cancer Foundation
Our mission is to empower, strengthen and sustain those impacted by cancer in our community through education, support and financial assistance. What this means is we provide education and support through various classes and support groups. We also provide much needed financial assistance to survivors struggling in our community through our financial assistance program. The foundation provides these stopgap funds, so no patient has to choose between basic needs and optimal cancer treatment.
